Consultation Sessions in Trauma-Informed Care
These 75-minute sessions are for people working in the field of trauma-informed care as clinicians, yoga/movement teachers, educators, or leaders of any sort working with trauma-impacted individuals and communities. Sessions are limited to 6 participants and are an opportunity to bring specific situations or concerns to Hala for coaching and reflection. (Although not required after registering, you can email Hala your topics in advance if you like.)
Topics typically brought for consultation can include particular individuals or situations that are challenging, as well as your own self-care/wellbeing. This is also a space for accountability where you can get reflection and perspective on how you are handling a situation. You can also join in simply to listen and learn from others. Having community is a vital part of making this work sustainable, and we encourage you to come just for that aspect alone.

These 75-min group meetings are for therapists, coaches, healers, and educators – anyone holding space for individuals who are struggling or trauma-impacted. This is an opportunity to get coaching and support from me on challenging situations where you feel stuck and need some skill-building. My framework is a somatic, critical, trauma-informed one.
Topics we can cover include: specific client cases where you feel stuck and need some support, working with transference and countertransference, sustainability, and self-care.
Supervision groups are limited to 6 people. In most sessions, everyone has a chance to share, but sometimes that’s not the case. Participants often report getting just as much out of watching me coach others as when they are being coached.
*NOTE: These are drop-in groups. Please sign up in advance as sessions will fill up. If you sign up and are not able to attend, we need 24hrs notice; otherwise, there is no refund.
